For artists, musicians, creators and first-time founders launching a label

Start a clothing brand without a factory, a warehouse, or a 500-piece minimum.

You do not need to source a factory, negotiate in a second language, or commit to 500 units to put out something that reads as a real brand. We handle the manufacturing relationship. You pick the blank, send the artwork, approve a mockup.

Why this matters for start-a-clothing-brand

Most people trying to start a label follow the same path: search for a manufacturer, land on a sourcing marketplace, get quoted 500 pieces per color by a supplier three time zones away, and quietly give up. The alternative on offer is print-on-demand, which will make you one hoodie — with the blank manufacturer’s tag still in the collar. Neither is what you actually wanted, which was a small run of your own goods, finished properly.

What we run

You never talk to the factory

We hold the supplier relationship, the specs, the sampling and the QC. You get one person to email in your own time zone. No sourcing platforms, no midnight calls, no wondering whether the quote you received is real.

The details that make apparel read as premium

The reason a Peter Millar polo feels different from a promotional one is not the logo — it is the knit weight, the collar construction, and the finishing. Those are specification choices, and they are available to you at 30 pieces the same as at 3,000.

Your name in the collar, not ours

Printed, woven or satin loop neck label, plus a care label with fibre, origin and size. The factory tag comes out. This is the single detail that separates a brand from a printed blank, and it is the one print-on-demand cannot give you.

A first drop you can actually afford

Thirty pieces per style and color, tiered pricing, and no obligation to reorder. Test a design with a real run, see what sells, then scale the winners instead of guessing at 500 units up front.

The brand-stack finish

Every order ships with the same four-touchpoint private-label treatment — branded neck label, care/side label, decoration matched to the fabric, and packaging that does some work in the unboxing. Read the longer explanation on what private-label means or how the neck-label options work.

Common questions

I have never made clothing before. Where do I start?

Pick a blank from the catalogue and send whatever artwork you have — even a rough file. Sales will come back with a firm price, tell you which decoration method suits your artwork and fabric, and flag anything that will not print well before you commit. You do not need to know what GSM means going in.

Do I need to deal with an overseas factory?

No. That is the part we take on. We hold the supplier relationship, place the purchase order, chase production and check the goods. You deal with one person here and approve a mockup before anything is made.

How is this different from print-on-demand?

Print-on-demand prints your artwork onto a stock blank that keeps the original manufacturer’s neck tag, and costs roughly the same per piece whether you sell one or a thousand. This is a real production run: your neck label, your care label, decoration matched to the fabric, and a price that improves as the run grows.

Can my merch actually feel like a premium brand?

The construction signals are specification choices, and you can make them: heavyweight fabric rather than the cheapest available, a woven label instead of a printed one, decoration matched to the material. What we cannot give you is a heritage mill or a couture atelier — nobody at this volume can, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

What does a first drop cost?

It depends on the blank, the decoration and the quantity, which is why we quote rather than publish a single number. Garment prices start where the catalogue shows; decoration is quoted against your artwork because a one-color chest hit and a four-color back print are not the same job.

What if the first run sells out?

Reorder. Repeat runs are faster because the labels, the screens and the specs already exist — the setup work is done. There is no obligation to reorder and no minimum commitment beyond the run you place.
