Why most staff uniform runs feel like promo
The default staff-uniform path is a stock off-the-rack polo with a heat-pressed logo over the heart, ordered from a generic promo shop. The fabric is light, the logo cracks after twenty washes, the factory tag itches the back of the neck, and the staff quietly hate wearing it. The brand looks the part for a week, then degrades.
A private-label staff uniform run flips that. The blank is retail-grade and weighs enough to hold the embroidery cleanly. The neck label is the brand's, in the brand's typography. Common questions
What's the minimum order for staff uniforms?
Low minimums per style and color. A typical front-of-house run is 40 men's polos plus 40 women's polos in the brand color — 80 pieces total. Adding a second polo color pushes the count up to 160.
Do you offer men's and women's cuts of the same blank?
Yes — for tees, polos, jackets, and tank tops. Same fabric, same color, sized and proportioned for the cut. Each cut counts as a separate SKU against our low-MOQ floor.
How does sizing work for staff teams?
You provide the size breakdown (e.g. 5 S, 12 M, 15 L, 6 XL, 2 XXL) when you submit the order. We produce against that breakdown — no per-size minimum as long as the total per SKU hits 40. We can also include a few extra pieces in the most-likely-needed sizes for new hires; flag this in the request.
Embroidery vs screen print on staff polos?
Embroidery on the left chest is the retail-standard treatment for polos and what reads most "real apparel." Screen print is occasionally right for back-of-shirt graphics on tees, but for staff uniforms the embroidered chest is almost always the right call.
